Rosehip seed oil is rich in free-radical fighting antioxidants that revitalize, rejuvenate and improve skin elasticity. Vitamin C stimulates collagen production. Beta-carotene, a precursor to Vitamin A may help with reducing the appearance of age spots, scars and sun damage. Rosehip oil is high in essential fatty acids, lineic and linolenic acids and vitamin E, vital for healthy, well hydrated skin. It also contains tretinoin or all-trans retinoic acid, which converts into retinol. Retinol helps increase skin thickness, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
